Programme component

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in psychology, educational sciences and language sciences to analyse a particular situation involving speech therapy
    • Identify and explain the concepts, principles, and models of basic theoretical approaches in psychology, educational sciences and language sciences and their applications
    • Identify and describe the biological, medical and socio-cultural foundations of human behaviour
    • Identify and describe the specific characteristics of psychology, educational sciences and language sciences, and their relationship to other contributory disciplines
    • Describe the main methodological approaches (goals, methods, techniques and tools) to understand and explain the functioning of individuals and groups
  • Grow personally and professionally
    • Develop their scientific curiosity and open-mindedness

Learning Outcomes of UE

This class aims to give conceptual foundations of inter and intraindividual differences in terms of intelligence and personality. How to measure these two elements and interpret results will also be discussed.
 

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

This class is divided in two distinct parts: one about intelligence and the second one about personality. These individual differences have been extensively studied over psychology evolution and history.
