Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Implement an academic view on knowledge, particularly through the mastery of methods and literature research tools.
    • Summarise the contributions of different sources to justify an opinion or decision
  • Actively master the fundamental concepts and models of economic sciences and management sciences
    • Understand how organisations and markets work
    • Understand the methods and tools adapted to the field of economics and management
  • Mobilise communication skills in two languages other than French, both orally and in writing, as a presentation of an argument or piece of research in accordance with scientific ethics.
    • Communicate in a clear and structured manner on issues of economics and management
  • Critically compare knowledge acquired to real situations.
    • Demonstrate an acute sense of analysis, criticism and ethics in relation to various issues in economics and management.
  • Demonstrate working and analytical rigour.
    • Be rigorous and independent in learning, particularly through adequate planning of activities to be undertaken in order to best utilise the time available.
    • Develop their scientific curiosity and open-mindedness
    • Demonstrate self-awareness, assess themself, and adapt.

Learning Outcomes of UE

By participating in the operational work and life of an association, the student will have the opportunity to develop his adaptability, flexibility, reflection and empathy; mobilize his knowledge and observation skills; develop new experiences and knowledge for the benefit of an association;
understand the reality of the association and the role of volunteers.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

The aim of this course is to provide students with field experience, to make them reflect on the motivations of volunteers, the functioning of associations and their role in civil society.

The student will have to carry out a short field experiment (min 24 hours) in an ASBL: to be carried out on full days (8 hours) or half days (4 hours): on weekends, at the end of the day or during the day according to the availability of his schedules and those of the ASBL. Immersion in an associative environment must be carried out between November and March.

The EU's learning activities are completely complementary and differ only in the way they are taught.
