Prérequis

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand language of instruction and foreign languages (language skills)
    • Use French perfectly in a variety of non-technical situations, both orally and in writing
  • Understand and integrate cultural similarities and differences (cultural and intercultural skills)
    • Develop knowledge in various fields, in particular those aimed at by translation activities
  • Use lexicographical resources and reference materials to lead linguistic mediation activities individually or as part of a team (professional skills)
    • Use printed or electronic dictionaries and reference materials appropriately

Learning Outcomes of UE

This "UE" aims at the improvement of French language mastery, with a mainly analytical perspective, mainly in two areas: the structure of the lexicon in the French language and the structure of the texts; which implies being capable of : 
- acquiring and mobilizing knowledge in this fields  
- consulting specialized tools (document research) 
- analyzing speeches (textual dilmensions)
