Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this course, the students will be able to study with particular frames of references specific HR issues by recognizing the organizational context in which these HR issues appear and by discerning working process. Students will be alerted to the necessity to pay attention to specific factors while thinking strategically about HRM. They will be also able to suggest specific actions or improvements in order to solve HR issues that will be analysed during the course and to view a specific HR problem with different approaches
 

Content of UE

In this course, various HR issues will be addressed through case studies (team management, recruitment, labour shortage, etc.) that will be solved and discussed in class. Some class sessions will be devoted to the presentation of useful theories to understand the issue. Students will also be asked to analyse specific HR issues in a company by interviewing managers and/or employees. Such analysis will be subjected to a written report.
