Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
In accordance with the competency framework of the clinical orthopedagogue, at the end of this course, the student:
- will be aware of their own ethical choices, likely to be influenced by their convictions, education, culture and personality and will recognize their impact on their intervention,
- be aware of the ethical and ethical guidelines in use and the regulatory framework of the profession,
- will be aware of the status, rights and obligations of the profession,
- will be able to apply the rules related to the practice of the profession.
Content of UE
Law, Justice, Morals, Ethics and Deontology:
* History, clarification of notions, their similarities and differences
* Ethical dilemmas specific to the exercise of clinical orthopedagogy
o Step of ethical reasoning
o Case studies
Ethical and ethical guidelines of clinical orthopedagogy:
* National regulatory framework at the national level: inclusive policies
* International Framework: European Charter, UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
* Code of ethics of the clinical orthopedagogue
o Status, professional associations, accreditation, visa and INAMI
o Consent and protection of vulnerable people
o Records management
o Teamwork: professional and shared secret
