Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
- Define the aging process, the old state and the various concepts associated with them (successful, normal, pathological aging...) in the field of social gerontology; - Identify needs, risk and protective factors encountered cognitive, psychological and social level of the aging person. - Implement a decision process about the tools and evaluation methodologies and / or accompaniment to use with an aging person; - Analyze, explain and reorganize the psycho-social ties within the family, with the entourage taking into account the ecological contexts
Content of UE
The course of "aging and social inclusion" includes chapters: - Inclusion and social innovations in advancing age; - Old age and aging: definitions, terminologies and currents; - Autonomy and independence: the gerontological paradox; - Depression and increasing age; - Neurocognitive disorders and advance in years; - Emotional and social adjustment; - Self-determination and citizenship during advancing age
