      Objectives of general skills

      • Understand and integrate cultural similarities and differences (cultural and intercultural skills)
        • Identify cultural differences and talk about them
      • Use lexicographical resources and reference materials to lead linguistic mediation activities individually or as part of a team (professional skills)
        • Use printed or electronic dictionaries and reference materials appropriately
        • Carry out, alone or in groups, activities or projects involving critical analysis
        • Communicate results or conclusions of these activities or projects in an appropriate manner
      • Conduct relevant research and report on it in a critical manner (cognitive skills)
        • Conduct targeted and reasoned documentary research in both the core language and the foreign languages studied
        • Assess the relevance and reliability of documentary sources used
        • Give a critique of the studied literature

      UE's Learning outcomes

      At the end of this learning, students will be able to analyse a wide range of sentences and texts by using their grammatical and rhetorical knowledge. They will be able to express themselves accurately, concisely and correctly as well to produce structured texts and discourses in a faithful reformulation.
