      Objectives of general skills

      • Describe, organise, analyse and prioritise the phenomena observed in the medical field
        • Perceive spatial distribution, and understand two- and three-dimensional representations and interconvert them
        • Know the standard physical examination, as well as recognise and describe clinical symptoms
      • Control the molecular, morphological and functional approaches of normal and pathological conditions
        • Describe these states and technical examinations to quantify them in different approaches, as well as describe the operational characteristics of these examinations
        • Integrate concepts from these different approaches in a complex biomedical problem
      • Demonstrate interpersonal skills developed within a medical context
        • Use a rich vocabulary accurately linking concepts and words, and understand the prefixes and suffixes used in the medical field
      • Develop reasoning skills
        • Integrate reasoning in clinical approaches
      • Manage their studies
        • Locate scientific information efficiently
      • Be a responsible practitioner

      UE's Learning outcomes

At the end of this course, students will have a thorough knowledge of the anatomical structures of the head and neck.

      UE Content

This course is a thorough description of the neurovascular structures and myologiques of the head and neck, as well as a detailed topography of these structures. Some basics in clinical cases affecting this anatomical region will also be discussed .

      Prior experience

Validation of the Anatomy course from blocks 1 and 2
