Objectives of general skills
- Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in psychology, educational sciences and science of language to analyse a particular situation involving speech therapy
- Identify and describe the biological, medical and socio-cultural foundations of human behaviour
- Explain and illustrate, with examples, human functioning, particularly in its pathological dimensions
- Describe the main methodological approaches (goals, methods, techniques and tools) to understand and explain the functioning of individuals and groups
- Develop personally and professionally
- Develop their scientific curiosity and open-mindedness
- Understand the various means available for documentation, to promote self-learning and lifelong learning

- Identify and describe the specific characteristics of scientific processes
- Give a critique and argue a point of view as part of a scientific approach
UE's Learning outcomes
This learning activity will provide students with the proficiency to:
- Master the fundamental biological knowledge and the ability to exploit them
- Master the learning of physiological reasoning
- Master the molecular, morphological and functional approaches of normal and pathological states
- The ability to explain the mutual relationship between molecular, morphological and functional modifications and the pathological states
- Be open to scientific research and demonstrate his scientific curiosity
UE Content
The following themes will be approached:
The general properties of biological systems;
The molecular mechanisms of heredity;
