Objectives of general skills
- Adopt an applied scientific approach
- Understand communication in the presentation of projects and studies to target audiences
- Understand the techniques and technologies related to projects and construction
UE's Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Perform various rendering techniques using graphite pencils and ink;
- Use drawing and sketching as a means of expression, analysis and communication;
- Apply the rules of linear perspective in drawing from observation and from a multiview orthographic projection;
- Present 3D objects in an axonometric projection from a multiview orthographic projection and vice versa;
- Analyse the form and specific graphic features of artworks by considering them in their historical and cultural context.
UE Content
Perspective, axonometric projection and the foundations of graphic expression are studied from three different learning perspectives:
- Theoretical: the form and graphic presentation of artworks is analysed in their specific context (historical, social and cultural) ;
- Practical: the rules of perspective and rendering techniques are applied through freehand drawings from observation using graphite pencils;
-Technical: scientific rules of axonometric projection and perspective are studied through practical exercises with the appropriate instruments.

Term 1 for Integrated Assessment - comments
The integrated test consists of three parts: theoretical, practical and technical. The success of the integrated test is conditional on the success of each part of the exam. However, in case of failure, the student will be able to resit the parts of the exam for which they received less than 10/20. The integrated test is a written exam. However, an agreement can be reached for the student to be assessed, in part, on the practical work carried out and produced throughout the year.
