Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Master the key elements needed for the maintenance manager of an industrial unit, being informed of technical and economical data, information flows, general methods and procedures, tools for modeling reliability and maintainability for the deployment of "Reliability-Cntered Maintenance" or "Total Productive Maintenance" strategies.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Understand RAMS : reliability, availability, maintenability and safety of mechanical systems (with the point of view of the designer); apply methodologies to measure and optimize the availability and performance of production lines (with the point of view of the process/production/quality/maintenance manager); understand technological and organisational aspects of industrial maintenance, from corrective maintenance to intelligent maintenance. This obviously brings together organizational skills (methods part) and analytical skills (statistical part)
Prior Experience
Probabilities and statistics; machine elements; mechanical vibrations; signal analysis (frequency analysis)
Type(s) and mode(s) of Q1 UE assessment
Q1 UE Assessment Comments
Oral examination with a theoretical part and an applied part (numerical solving of problems with a written preparation and use of a computer). Maximum length: half-day. A single assessment is organized for all the learning activities (AA) of this educational component (UE).
Type(s) and mode(s) of Q1 UE resit assessment (BAB1)
