Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of the immersion activities, students will be able to:
- implement their linguistic and (inter)cultural skills in the natural environment of one of the chosen languages of specialization chosen by the learner ;
- show proof of their integration capacity, either by successful completion of a formal study program in the guest country or region, or by a programme of activities covered by a placement agreement with a company or host organisation where the foreign language is the main vehicle for internal and external communication.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Study stay such as an Erasmus exchange in a partner university of UMONS.
Immersion internship in a business company or host organisation in Belgium or a neighbouring country.
Prior Experience
Mastery of the language in use at the destination at level B2, at least, of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
