Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand language of instruction and foreign languages (language skills)
    • Communicate easily and adequately, in both selected foreign languages, at a minimum level of B2 in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
  • Understand and integrate cultural similarities and differences (cultural and intercultural skills)
    • Identify cultural differences and talk about them
  • Use lexicographical resources and reference materials to lead linguistic mediation activities individually or as part of a team (professional skills)
    • Use printed or electronic dictionaries and reference materials appropriately

Learning Outcomes of UE

Upon completion of the language courses of the first module, students will have a good command of English at the B1 level (minimum) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

Class activities centred on:
- describing, narrating and expressing personal opinions in familiar and predictable situations using a simple and functional, reasonably correct language; 
- understanding of general, particular and detailed information;
- developing efficient listening strategies and commenting audio recordings;
- identifying and transcribing relevant lexical and grammatical structures.
