Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this teaching, the student will be able to:
Conduct rigorous and critical participatory research.
Master and mobilize fundamental knowledge in anthropology of gender, sexuality and kinship (knowledge, models, theories, concepts, emblematic monographs of here and abroad)
Master and mobilize fundamental knowledge in urban anthropology.
Content of UE
This teaching unit will introduce students to the philosophy and practice of participating research. It will accompany students in their own research practice through an active and reflexive pedagogy that will stimulate their empirical, theoretical and ethical questions.
Particular attention will be paid to the fundamental principles and concepts of a prospective and involved anthropology of gender, kinship and sexuality. Iconic ethnological research will be presented.
The course will also develop the knowledge, skills and know-how of urban anthropology students. The key concepts will be concretely reformulated through case studies.
