      Molecular chemistry, including quantum aspects:
      - chemical bonds;
      - molecular geometry;
      - resonance;
      - polarity of molecules.
      Organic chemistry:
      - structure of organic molecules;
      - functional groups and nomenclature;
      - configuration and conformation of the molecules;
      - isomerism and chirality;
      - carbohydrates, lipids, proteins;
      - notions of reactivity and reaction examples.
      Chemical thermodynamics:
      - spontaneous processes and entropy;
      - laws of thermodynamics;
      - Gibbs free energy and application to chemical reactions.
      Acids and bases:
      - definitions and properties;
      - acid-base reactions in water;
      - calculations of pH;
      - acid-base titration.
      Electrochemistry:
      - oxidation-reduction reactions;
      - electrochemical cell;
      - cell potential.
      Chemical kinetics:
      - catalysis;
      - influence of temperature;
      - reaction mechanisms;
      - photochemical reactions.
      Phase transition:
      - phase diagrams;
      - phase rule;
      - case of pure substances;
      - case of binary mixture;
      - equilibrium vapour pressure and hygrometry.
      Colligative properties of solutions
      - ebullioscopy and cryoscopy;
      - osmosis.
      Environmental chemistry and examples of industrial applications.
