Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
After completing this course, students will be able to understand the regulatory context in which banks and insurance companies evolve, to apply regulation standards to banks and insurance companies, to calculate minimal solvency and liquidity requirements for banks and insurance companies and to take a critical look at the evolution of the regulatory framework in the financial sectors. `
Content of UE
The growing role of financial institutions in the global economy has modified previous regulations, but often approaches used in previous regulations have been preserved. In order to understand the current regulatory environment of financial institutions, it is necessary to understand historical developments. This course will therefore adopt an historical perspective to explain the evolution of regulatory institutions and standards in the financial sectors.
