      Description of the modifications to the Q3 2020-2021 assessment procedures (Covid-19)
      English in a scientific context (vocabulary) 15%, grammar 15%
      Portfolio and oral exam. Not submitting the portfolio will directly lead to a fail (0/20 for Q2). Students have nevertheless access to the entire exam session, including the oral exam. 70%

      Content of Learning Activity

      At the term of this course, students will be capable to
      - use in context basic English grammar notions; 
      - extract information from science-oriented English texts;
      - to communicate in English, in writing and orally, on science-related topics;
      - work autonomously on audio documents (B1 level);
      - build vocabulary linked to science;
      - put into practice the basic rules of English pronunciation;
      - create science-oriented works linked to their field of study.
