      Description of the modifications to the Q3 2020-2021 assessment procedures (Covid-19)
      A synchronous exam organised remotely concerning the theoretical part of the course with a weight of 40%. A general question is to be prepared for one hour in form of a written dissertation and an oral discussion for about 15 minutes. The oral part consists in customised questions that deal with all the content of the course.
      The report concerning the practical works will be evaluated individually during the oral part of the theoretical exam. Weight: 60% of the total mark.

      Content of Learning Activity

      exploration of the deposit; evaluation of the mining reserves; design and optimisation of the mining methods; choice of basic techniques; engineering workings; investments and operating costs evaluation; actualisation and economical assessment of projects : net present value and internal rate of return; building the project on the computer by a group of 3 to 4 students.
