      Content of Learning Activity

The content of this course is intended for BA3 students in humanities and social sciences, who have taken several courses in political science and the history of political ideas during their studies. While they have developed in their studies knowledge and skills in the analysis of public phenomena, it is now a matter of giving them the keys to understanding international politics, governed by law. As this is a novelty in their course, it will be about initiating students to the main lines of international law (its theories, its practice). Its objective is to develop the tools (knowledge and skills) allowing the understanding and analysis of international law (that is to say the legal norms governing relations between States, supra-state communities and non-governmental organizations. ), which can manifest itself through international political phenomena, such as conflicts over border resources, wars, persecution of ethnic and / or religious minorities, etc.
