Content of Learning Activity
This Sociology of the Media (Sociologie des médias) course is designed as an introduction to the critical approach of the media through the analysis of the main theoretical, mainly sociological, bodies of research that have marked the study of mass communication since the 1930s. This course also proposes to analyze some of the main contemporary issues and debates on media, based on recent scientific research.

The PowerPoint presentations used during the sessions will be made available to the students. These PowerPoint presentations will be progressively posted on the teaching platform Moodle. Scientific texts will also be posted on Moodle.
