Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
The course is devoted to the study of cognitive processes involved in perception, comprehension and production of spoken and written (empirical data and models).
A description of research methods specific to psycholinguistics (lexical decision, priming, ..) as well as current issues and current research (Connectionism, theories of language acquisition, textual linguistics, language engineering, imaging techniques cerebral dialectics invariance-variance) is also proposed.
Content of UE
Objectives, evolution and methods in psycholinguistics. Speech perception and lexical access; empirical and theoretical data and models. Production: empirical and theoretical data and models. Reading: mechanisms involved and the role of orthographic and phonological coding.
