• Master and appropriately mobilise knowledge and methodological approaches to understand and explain the normal/atypical/pathological functioning of individuals, groups or organisations.
• Analyse and model a situation (individually or collectively) by critically selecting theories and methodological approaches.
• Justifiably choose an intervention and implement and evaluate it.
• Master knowledge on interventions to improve a given situation (individually or collectively), as well as implement them.

Learning Outcomes of UE

- Understand and explain the specifics related to the exercise of psycho-gerontology and psycho-geriatrics
- Reflect the pluralistic characteristics of the elder to establish a psycho-geriatric diagnosis
- Develop practices designed to promote the psychological well-being and the quality of life of the elder at home and/ or in accommodation facilities
- Decoding problem situations from clinical situations and identify practices according to the identified needs, the life project of the senior and/or entourage

- The process of ageing and psycho-social models
- Psycho-gerontology and psycho-geriatrics: job profiles and skills
- Psychopathology of aging
- Gerontological interventions, promoting quality of life, self-determination and psychological well-being
