Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19) |
This teaching unit is evaluated through the writing of sections of a Wiki available to all students. This production, totaling at least 15,000 signs (fifteen thousand signs, spaces included), is divided into several articles relating to higher education, its history ...). Contributions can be complete articles or supplements to productions by other students. The general rules for scientific production also apply here. Plagiarism will be avoided, sources will be clearly identified, information will be factual and documented, the texts are not forums and are not intended to propagate opinions, but to present the facts as objectively as possible. Illustrations, diagrams ... can be added as this improves the reader's understanding. Links to useful sites are also provided. The texts are written in correct French, at an academic level, but without unnecessary jargon. Specific terms are either the subject of an article in the Wiki or an entry in the glossary. Each student contributes to writing at least ten entries in the glossary. How to contribute to the Wiki and the Glossary via Moodle was explained during the first lesson. The written work is developed gradually and the face-to-face, then distance (TEAMS) course sessions are intended to prepare and organize individual and collective work, to discuss about it and to improve the construction of the collective Wiki project. Attendance at these sessions is mandatory and, in the event of justified absence, students are invited to get back in order with their colleagues. Students will have to present their work during these work sessions and a final session will assess the work carried out. The evaluation concerns the written work, the contributions during face-to-face sessions and the presentation of the work carried out during a closing session. Before this closing session, each student took note of the contributions of the other students and integrated the information contained therein. If necessary, he can bring a critical look or a personal contribution to these contributions. This ability is also part of the student's assessment. Each student will also choose a scientific article relating to higher education in French-speaking Belgium and present it orally and in writing. This choice will be proposed to the professor during the second lesson session. |
