Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19) |
The test is common to the block of courses. This is the submission of a documented work of around twenty pages. It will focus on the consequences of the socio-spatial segregation experienced by the inhabitants of social housing districts. Then it will present some urban planning solutions to this challenges. The work will be based on the two courses of the block and a targeted documentary analysis ( minimum 5 scientific references will be used in addition to the course notes). |

Definitions of the current major challenges for public spaces by reading several authors : security, accessibility, environmental quality, privatization, segregation, urban marketing, ...
Analysis of contemporary practices responding to these challenges, both at the level of cities (Barcelona, Lille, Paris) and local initiatives (PPS, tactical urbanism).
