Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19) |
The requested work is a materialization making the parallels between the concepts seen during the course and your evolutionary reflections concerning architecture, with as a common thread your architectural project in the workshop of Quad 2. For students not having the course workshop of Quad 2 in their PAE, I invite you to do the work either on your workshop project in another year, or to work on the themes by taking references. Select at least 5 topics that you explore further. Your opinion, your thinking processes are important! The form: Given the confinement, your work will be digitalized and posted on moodle. The methods are free, be inventive and creative. Make analytical sketches, work on visual means of communication. NO TEXT !!! NO GRAPHIC EFFECTS that have nothing to do with your analysis! Make sketches, make analyzes by annotating photos, make montages, make ... tests, unconventional things ... express yourself, work on your spatial reflections in architecture. Of course a few words can accompany your visual means. This specific request wants to abolish the pasted copy that is found too often in the work ... Here we work with our tools used by architects . Objectives: This work will allow you to learn new concepts while applying them to your reflections in architecture. The parallels you make with your workshop project can be used for your final display, consult your referents of the workshop for this. MANDATORY: When using references put the name of the designer and date of realization. I give you some tracks to start the machine.... Evaluation criteria: 1. Relevance of the subject's development (25%) 2. Personal reflections (25%) 3. Quality of visual narration (50%) Examples of subjects that can be developed: -How will I compose the street façade in the context of Mons? - How will I resolve the natural light supply? - How do I see my facade as an interface between interior and exterior? - What visibility will I give to the gallery, what architectural writing will I give it? - Am I going to do a project in which we read the difference between trade and housing? - How to manage double entries? - What materiality will I give to my facade? |
Content of Learning Activity
As future designers of space and atmosphere, students are encouraged to study architecture from a thematic analysis based on the concept of "place". This analysis starts from a definition of the concept in terms of what it is and what it wants to be, as a whole and its interactions with other places. Architectural "places" will be compared to those created by both contemporary and ancient artists to give creative reference that canbe reinterpreted.
