Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in psychology and educational sciences to analyse a situation involving these disciplines
    • Identify and explain the concepts, principles and models of fundamental theoretical trends in psychology and educational sciences and their applications
    • Identify and describe the specific characteristics of psychology and educational sciences and their relationship to other contributory disciplines
  • Provide clear, accurate, and reasoned information
    • Summarise the contributions of different sources to justify an opinion or decision
    • Provide information (both orally and in writing) regarding the fields of psychology and educational sciences in an intelligible manner, with a good command of the language communication techniques.
  • Collaborate, work in a team
    • Interact effectively with other students to carry out collaborative projects.
    • Analyse personal performance within a group
    • Demonstrate active listening and empathy in the context of an interpersonal situation
    • Identify and appropriately implement the different ways of working in a group
  • Grow personally and professionally
    • Name the separate branches of psychology and educational sciences
    • Develop their scientific curiosity and open-mindedness
    • Understand the various means available for documentation, to promote self-learning and lifelong learning
    • Demonstrate self-awareness and assess themself, as well as analyse and adapt their attitudes to avoid certain biases both in research and in professional practices

Learning Outcomes of UE

Use most of English basic grammar notions and structures when reading texts;Look up information in B1/B2 level education- and psychology-related publications written in English ; Test strategies in listening comprehension and diversify their techniques when tackling B1 level audio documents ; Work autonomously with B1/B2 level texts and answer related questions. Write an A2 level email to ask for information.Introducing themselves (level A2).

Content of UE

English grammar ; listening (B1) and reading (B1/B2) comprehension exercises; writing (A2) and oral (A2) exercises ; self-assessment ; learning to work autonomously
