Learning Outcomes of UE

L'objectif du cours est d'amener les étudiants à maîtriser les principaux concepts théoriques de la sémiologie. Au terme du cours, ils devrons être capables de développer une méthode d'analyse sémiologique appliquée à l'image et aux médias, en mobilisant les notions théoriques enseignées.

Content of UE

Le cours de <em>Sémiologie générale </em>entend tout d'abord initier les étudiants aux concepts théoriques fondamentaux de la sémiologie. Son objectif est de les amener à pouvoir mobiliser ces concepts et à développer une démarche analytique leur permettant de déconstruire des systèmes sémiotiques communicationnels ("Une" médiatique, photographies, publicités, vidéo de campagne électorale, etc.). Le cours vise, par ailleurs, à permettre aux étudiants de repérer et d'analyser les idéologies, les représentations et les stéréotypes qui nous entourent.
