Content of Learning Activity
Study of some essential separation unit operations (absorption, liquid-liquid extraction, azeotropic distillation) following a similar methodology : technology (batch and continuous operations) ; equilibrium laws ; hydrodynamics ; transfer kinetics ; links with chemical reaction and heat transfer ; design/simulation ; effects of operating conditions.
