      Content of Learning Activity

      Continuum approach; Statics, Kinematics and dynamics laws; Non viscous fluids (Bernoulli's theorem, 2D incompressible and irrotational flows); Newtonian fluids; Navier-Stokes; Balance of momentum on control volumes; Similitude; dimensional analysis and modeling; Turbulence; Reynolds averaged equations; Creeping flows; Boundary layer; Flows around immersed bodies (drag, lift); Viscous flows in pipes (friction and local losses, Moody, cavitation, network of pipes).
