Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Understand design requirements and concepts regarding smart agents and system-on-chip design. Master modeling techniques, methodologies and design tools to come up with feasible solutions. Keep updated regarding state of art technology, changes and evolution of today’s electronic devices.
Content of UE
Technology change is about distributed data collection and processing from multiple sensors, as in the IoT (Internet of Things), AAL (Ambient Assisted Living), Smart Cities or Green revolution. All is today possible thanks to the combination of distributed hardware/software computation, wireless technology, MEMS (Micro electro mechanical systems), and energy harvesting. This course focuses on studying all those enabling technologies starting from the system specification, model and requirement to the definition and implementation of SoC (System on Chip) architectures of Smart Agents.
