Objectives of general skills
- Actively master the fundamental concepts and models of economic sciences and management sciences
- Understand the methods and tools adapted to the field of economics and management
- Demonstrate working and analytical rigour.
- Demonstrate self-awareness, assess themself, and adapt.
UE's Learning outcomes
After this course, the students will be able to :
- modelize some optimization problems with constraints by linear programming,
- solve them with simplex algorithm
- interpret and exploit their results
- modelize some problems in uncertain situations
- modelize scheduling problems
- use a series of basic statistical tools usefull for economic decision making (expectation, variance, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing) both as theoretical and empirical tools.
UE Content
