      Objectives of general skills

      UE's Learning outcomes

      At the end of the second module of the master in interpreting, students will be able to: - memorize a speech of a non- or averagely specialized nature while identifying and replicating its structure, using notes if required; - fully understand and memorize a more highly specialized speech through the preparation of documents and terminology; - render the speech in correct and fluent French with no errors of meaning and deliver the speech in a convincing fashion; - give a description and rationale for the strategies employed.

      UE Content

      Consecutive and simultaneous interpretation of speeches of various length and complexity. Topics deriving from major international meetings.
