      Objectives of general skills

      • Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in psychology and educational sciences to analyse a situation involving these disciplines
        • Identify and explain the concepts, principles and models of fundamental theoretical trends in psychology and educational sciences and their applications
        • Describe the principles of methodological approaches (objectives, methods, techniques and tools) to understand and explain the functioning of individuals, groups and organisations
      • Understand the fundamentals of intervention
        • Describe the steps of the implementation process of interventions and identify the stakeholders involved
        • Identify the type of intervention, with reference to a theoretical framework, including the choice of appropriate tools to be implemented based on the analysis of a well-defined situation

      UE's Learning outcomes

      This course aims to teach the students the concepts, methods and strategies of the Behavioral Interventions (Applied Behavior Analysis or A.B.A.), especially in the area of developmental disorders lifelong (children, adolescents and adults in a situation of maladjustment or handicap). The objectives focuse  on the behavioural basis of learning. At the end of the course, the students are able to : describe the principles and procedures of the behavioral model, to plan strategies to be used in a behavior plan, elaborate observation tools to assess the program established.  <b>We’ll be particularly concerned with the learning interventions implemented in the school and educational settings.</b> The specific objectives are presented in the Learning Guide.
