      Integrated Assessment: There will be an overall assessment for the entire Programme component (UE) instead of individual assessments for each Teaching Activity (AA)

      Objectives of general skills

      • Have a complete understanding. Analyse any communicative situation (real or depicted) in reference to the theoretical and methodological frameworks within various scientific approaches to language.
        • Master and appropriately mobilise knowledge and methodological approaches to understand and explain the normal/atypical/pathological functioning of individuals, groups or organisations, using any form of language.
        • Analyse and model a communicative situation (individually or collectively) by critically selecting isolated theories and suitable methodological approaches.
        • Critically analyse the extent and limitations of different types of intervention in a situation of linguistic nature.
      • Communicate effectively. Communicate and exchange information in a structured and adapted way to the intended purpose and relevant public.
        • Present and structure data in a clear, precise, neutral, and non-oriented way.
        • Present (orally and in writing) the results of an intervention (study, analysis, investigation, etc.) to adequately inform a target audience.
        • Appropriately use presentation materials.
      • Work collaboratively. Work effectively with different actors as part of a team or a network of professionals.
        • Contribute to the coordination and animation of a multi-professional and multi-disciplinary team.
        • Implement the most effective ways of interpersonal collaboration in a given collaborative situation.
        • Share knowledge and data to carry out a common project.
        • Listen to team members and partners. Encourage expressing a shared opinion. Accept and discuss a different point of view than theirs.
      • Have a willingness to keep learning. Assess and pursue professional and personal development.
        • Monitor knowledge and methodological approaches in order to evolve their thinking and practice.
        • Learn from practice (based particularly on assessment). Question themselves.
        • Analyse their personal functioning and adapt their professional attitudes.
      • Adopt a scientific approach. Master the scientific approaches in language sciences.
        • Appropriately apply different scientific research methods.
      • Adopt a specialist approach to language teaching. Master the concepts, techniques, methods, and devices specific to methodological and scientifc approaches used in language teaching.
        • Analyse an educational situation, specific to teaching and language learning, with reference to theories and concepts resulting from developments in educational sciences, particularly in the specific field of language sciences and psychology.
        • Develop expertise in the various components of language competence and the methodology of teaching languages.
        • Design, conduct, regulate and assess, in a relevant way, learning situations designed to understand language and culture.

      UE's Learning outcomes

      At the issue of the TU, the student (s) will be able: to call and argue positive and negative reviews of textbooks and other teaching materials; to specify the socio-economic context of a publication; to identify the actors and their roles in an editing process; to link officials programs and standards with a manual; evaluate a manual; to justify the choice of a course material, methodology and growth; to produce a didactic sequence involving a microskill. He will be also able to link activities of learning and the different theoretical conceptions of learning a foreign language via the didactic triangle.
