      Objectives of general skills

      • Communicate in a structured way - visually, orally and in writing, in French and English - giving clear, accurate, and reasoned information
        • Argue to and persuade a project owner, teachers and a board orally, with visual aids and in writing
        • Use several methods of written and graphic communication: text, tables, equations, sketches, maps, graphs, etc.
        • Use the English language to "advanced independent user" level, equivalent to B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

      UE's Learning outcomes

      At the end of this unit, students will have demonstrated their B2 level skills in reading, usage and listening comprehension, by sitting the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication). They will also have developed and reinforced their skills in attending lectures in English, on subjects relevant to their field of study.
