Group projects (3 students): 3 to 5 short projects illustrating various types of modelling. Grading based on the choice of modelling approach, results and scientific exactness of explanations, as well adaptation of the report to thc cibled public (different for each project). 30% of total grade.
Oral exam: critic discussion of a scientific paper on a related subject. The paper is sent to the students at least 2 weeks before the exam. The student presents briefly the content of the paper, which is then discussed, on the base of a work document (free form). Grading based on the exactness of explanations, understanding of methods and phenomena. 70% of total grade. Total duration: 30 minutes.
