Term 1 Assessment - comments
Written assessment (in December, 33% of the mark). The written assessment encompasses design, drawing, analysis and dimensioning of gear drives. The Standard Handbook with Engineering Formulas is the only accessible document. Maximal length: 3h. Theoretical examination (in January, 67% of the mark). The theoretical examination encompasses analysis of technical drawings, technical drawings, design procedures, theoretical aspects concerning geometry, functioning, dimensioning and design principles. No document is accessible for during the examination. Maximal length : half-day.
