Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this course, students will be able (a) to understand and develop an in-depth reflexion on scientific models related to child and adolescent clinical psychology from a developmental (i.e., lifespan development/family life cycle), processual (i.e., intra- and interpersonal processes and socio-constructivism), multi-dimensional (i.e., behavioural, motivational, emotional, cognitive aspects) and integrative (e.g., attachment-based and behavioural aspects) and (b) to conduct clinical case studies on specific problems (e.g., substance use, the experience of lockdown in children and adolescents).
Content of UE
Introduction to Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology
Developmental approach: goodness-of-fit, developmental trajectory of psychological difficulties
Process approach: identification of intra- and interpersonal processes
Multi-dimensional approach: behavioural, motivational, emotional and cognitive aspects
Integrative approach
Cclinical cases: substance use, lockdown experience, etc.
