Integrated Assessment: There will be an overall assessment for the entire Programme component (UE) instead of individual assessments for each Teaching Activity (AA)
Objectives of general skills
- Implement an engineering approach dealing with a set problem taking into account technical, economic and environmental constraints
- Design, evaluate and optimise solutions addressing the problem
- Present a chosen solution in the form of a design, a schema, a plan, a model, a prototype, software and/or digital model
- Communicate the approach, results and prospects to a project owner or a board
- Identify and acquire the information and skills needed to solve the problem
- Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in arts, science, engineering and construction to solve problems involving these disciplines
- Identify, describe and explain the basic artistic, scientific and mathematical principles
- Complete an architecture project, individually or as part of a team
- Analyse and characterise complex problems in the field of architecture by adopting a scientific, heuristic, hermeneutic, systemic and transdisciplinary approach which integrates ethical, cultural, human, economic, technological and environmental contexts and issues
- Adapt the approach and achievements taking into account the feedback received
- Manage deadlines and timescales
- Collaborate, work in a team
- Identify and appropriately implement the different ways of working in a group
- Communicate in a structured way - visually, orally and in writing, in French and English - giving clear, accurate, reasoned information
- Argue to and persuade a project owner, teachers and a board orally, with visual aids and in writing
- Give an effective oral presentation, using presentation materials appropriately
- Demonstrate thoroughness and independence throughout their studies
- Be self-aware, self-assess and develop appropriate learning strategies
