Objectives of general skills
- Understand the fundamentals (theories and tools) in human and social sciences
- Understand the social environment and the way it works, as well as the role played by different social, economic and political agents
- Understand research methodologies applicable in human and social sciences
- Develop and structure reasoning and arguments specific to human and social sciences
- Communicate in a clear and structured manner on issues related to human and social sciences
- Apply transferable skills, such as analysis and critical thinking, thoroughness, independence, and teamwork
- Thrive both personally and scientifically for employability
- Apply the understanding of the political field to those concerning sociology, anthropology, economics, management (Political Science option)
- Develop a critical view of concepts, models and methods proposed in political science (Political Science option)
- Distinguish objectivity from subjectivity, and express the ideological dimension behind political and institutional issues (Political Science option)
- Form a critical view of theories, concepts and methods specific to sociology and anthropology (Sociology and Anthropology option)
- Describe and analyse minority and/or remote contemporary human societies in a plausible manner
