UE's Learning outcomes

To analyse the structural elements (going through the conditions of stability, of waterproofing, of hygrothermic and acoustic, comfort, durability, economy,...) which make up the wall structure/roofing of small or medium sized constructions in traditional techniques, while studying the aesthetic conséquences.At the end of the course, the student wille be able to explain the scientific basic knowledge and will be capable of exploiting them. He will understand the underlying scientific principles in exercices of geometrical optics, kinematic, dynamic, thermodynamics and electricity and will be capable of solving them.

UE Content

The study of marking out and setting up of the works, of excavation, of foundations, of masonry,walls and partitions in masonry, of flooring, of roofing, of circulation.The beginning of the course is dedicated to reminders on the correct use of the units useful for architect's job. Then, the basis in geometric optics, kinematics, dynamics, thermodynamics and elrctricity will be approached.
