This lesson approaches the movements of vanguards in Architecture and Plastic arts which punctuate the period of the end of the XIXth century s at the end of the XXth century s" (from Crystal Palace de Paxton in 1851 to the Modulor du Corbusier in 1951):

      1. From the rationalistic architecture to the liberalisation of the figure in Art nouveau and return to the order of the Art deco; 2. From the Modern architecture to the first vanguards of Futurism, Constructivism, Néoplasticisme; 3. From the fonctionnalisme to Bauhaus and the German expressionisme; 4. From the modernism in architecture to the «style international» and in the brutalisme of organic and vernacular architecture.

Lecture. Analysis of case in architecture and plastic arts from documents (plans, cuts, elevation, perspectives, graphic and virtual reconstitutions) from grids of analysis in painting, sculpture and architecture.
