Integrated test : there will be no assessment for each AA but a single assessment for the UE.
Programme component

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Mobilise expertise in at least one area of management.
    • Master the principal decision-making processes of a company.
  • Professionally communicate and present original work both orally and in writing.
    • Communicate and interact in a clear and structured manner, orally and in writing, on issues, analyses and projects.
  • Collaborate within a team and exercise leadership.
    • Contribute to the coordination and animation of a team, by putting in place the most effective means of collaboration in a given situation.
    • Listen to team members and encourage expressing a shared opinion. Accept and discuss a different point of view than theirs.
    • Plan activities so as to best utilise the time available.

Learning Outcomes of UE

Through this seminar, the students will have to examine and to discuss situations of different companies. They will have to apply the theories taught during their program to concrete cases. In this seminar, the students will develop skills such as the ability to synthesize, to work in a team, the art of public speaking and the capacity of argumentation.

Attendance is MANDATORY.
Indeed, students are evaluated on the basis of their participation, their analyses, their presentations... there is no exam.
Unjustified absence from a session will result in the cancellation of the grade for the entire activity concerned. And will jeopardize the success of the seminar.
 

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

Financial structure, payment of dividend, cash flows analysis, effects of new shares emission, evaluation of the firm.  Cases studies and exercises.

Prior Experience

Knowledge in corporate finance and financial markets

Q1 UE Assessment Comments

The final evaluation for this seminar will take into account :
-        Preparation of Cases studies and presentation in front of the class. A written rapport is expected from each group of students 
-        Evaluation of a firm. A written rapport is expected from each student

All the presentation and works has to be known and discussed during an oral examination.

.Final grades/marks are the results of teamwork, several individual works and general discussions.
