Programme component

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Activate mathematical and computer models to insert them into analytical reasoning.
    • Understand the methods and quantitative tools adapted to the analysis of economic and management sciences.
    • Analyse and model a problem, by critically selecting appropriate theories.
  • Critically compare knowledge acquired to real situations.
    • Develop and structure reasoning by basing it on suitable scientific arguments
  • Demonstrate working and analytical rigour.
    • Be rigorous and independent in learning, particularly through adequate planning of activities to be undertaken in order to best utilise the time available.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this course, students will be able to tackle a complex decision-making problem.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

Structuring of a decision problem (multi-criteria framework);
Problems related to the aggregation of judgments (example of social choice theory) and to the notion of importance of criteria;
Classification.

EU learning activities are completely complementary and differ only in the teaching modalities
