Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of the second module of the master in translation, students should be able to:
- translate specialized texts in the fields considered with a high degree of proficiency as to the style and the content;
- choose the appropriate terms as to ensure their translation is fit for publication without an over-lengthy revision by a specialist of the field;
- warrant their terminological and stylistic choices;
- use the basic tools involved in computer-enhanced translation.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Translating texts on legal / political and scientific / technological / economic subjects.
Practical sessions with use of the appropriate office automation and computer tools such as word processing and specialized databases.Students will also be translating from swedish/ norwegian into french.
