Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • In the field of chemistry, possess highly specialised and integrated knowledge and a wide range of skills adding to those covered in the Bachelor's programme in chemistry.
  • Help lead and complete a major development project, individually or in teams, related to chemistry.
    • Mobilise, articulate and promote the knowledge and skills acquired.
    • Demonstrate independence and their ability to work alone or in teams.
  • Manage research, development and innovation within chemistry and/or its applications.
    • Understand unprecedented problems in chemistry.
  • Develop and integrate a high degree of autonomy.
    • Pursue their education and gain additional knowledge and new skills.
  • Apply high quality scientific methodology.
    • Critically reflect on the impact of chemistry in general and projects to which they particularly contribute.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this course, the students will be familiar with the main sectors of the chemical industry; via presentations and discussions with various chemists active in industry, or even via interviews and visits on site (2). This will allow students to obtain the answers to many questions regarding the career of the chemist in industry and the fields of activity covered.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

This course is divided into two modules: (i) the interview of a chemist active in industry and the presentation by the student; (ii) 1 visit to industrial sites.
