Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of the instruction, the students will be able to master high school mathematics needed for the courses in the first year 
of bachelor in sciences (mathematics, physics and computer science).
AIMS : to fix high school basic notions of mathematics. 
To allow a better transition (from the mathematical viewpoint) between high school and university levels. 

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

Vectors, lines, planes, linear systems.
Propositional and first order logic (truth table, quantifications, techniques of proofs). 
Inequalities.

Method of calculating the overall mark for the Q1 UE assessment

The Elementary mathematics course consists of several AA. The evaluation is composed of a single note: maximum(20% Quoted exercices (weekly tests) + 80% examinations; january examinations) Quoted exercices and examinations will assess all the contents of the course.
