Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Select, design, simulate and extrapolate chemical reactors (for various chemical, physico-chemical and thermal constraints).
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Modelling different types of reactors (ideally mixed or tubular, continuous, semi-continuous and discontinuous, adiabatic, isothermal and non-adiabatic) ; comparison and choice of reactors ; residence time distributions and simulation of real reactors ; catalytic reactors (rate equations, heat transfer).
