Content of Learning Activity
Laboratory sessions illustrate the AA I-GPRO-028 and will allow students to understand the conventional analyzes of elements or compounds in solution by complexometric titrations, by colorimetry and UV-visible spectrometry, by atomic spectrometry of absorption and plasma-coupled emission (ICP-AES) with a view to characterizing, among other things, drinking or waste water or the element content of a solid after dissolution; and by gas chromatography for organic molecules after application of liquid-solid or liquid-liquid extraction methods on environmental samples.
The results of the analyzes carried out by the students will be recorded in a report summarizing the protocols implemented, setting out the formulas used, presenting the calibration methods, if necessary, and the results, respecting the appropriate formalism, including the statistical aspects.
Required Learning Resources/Tools
The laboratory protocols and exercises used during the various laboratory sessions are available on the Moodle platform.
