Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Mobilise communication skills in two languages other than French, both orally and in writing, as a presentation of an argument or piece of research in accordance with scientific ethics.
    • Communicate in a clear and structured manner on issues of economics and management
  • Critically compare knowledge acquired to real situations.
    • Demonstrate an acute sense of analysis, criticism and ethics in relation to various issues in economics and management.
  • Demonstrate working and analytical rigour.
    • Be rigorous and independent in learning, particularly through adequate planning of activities to be undertaken in order to best utilise the time available.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this course, students will be able to manage a group of 1st year students (tutoring): organization of meetings, planning of work sessions, animation of sessions, time management, evaluation of functioning, observations and preparation of reports, reflexive analysis of the functioning of the group. They will be able to write a reflective activity report from each tutoring session.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

Theoretical concepts: group concept, cohesion factors, group communication, leadership, conflict management, etc.
Practical work: organization of tutoring sessions between peers, support in the realization of a work by the students of block 1 and evaluation of a presentation on the basis of a grid of criteria, writing of a logbook describing the different tutoring sessions, etc.

The EU's learning activities are completely complementary and differ only in the way they are taught.
Mandatory attendance at all course sessions.

Prior Experience

Requirements: all UE in B1.
Depending on the specific organisation of the activity, a maximum number of students will be selected each year.
